Anchorage Community Theatre News

Last Chance to See Heart.

Don't miss this last chance to see what may be the best show in Anchorage this year. ACT was just given the honor of an invitation to present HEART as a main stage production one evening at the Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Valdez in May. The last shows here are at the Wild Berry Theater this Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00, and Sunday afternoon at 3:00. Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for seniors/students/military ($1 more at the door). Reserve your seats now online or call 868-4913.

Mike Dunham in the Anchorage Daily News writes: "Billed as a comedy, it also has a powerfully poignant component .... Directed by Kevin T. Bennett, the well-performed show is the most ambitious piece Anchorage Community Theatre has produced in several years.... here were few places when someone in the house wasn't snickering and at least three energetic exits were accompanied by loud laughter and applause."
