ACT's Broadway Kidz: Kid-prov Daycamp
"Acting is reacting!"
Being on stage in a play or a musical takes practice, but there’s one major skill that changes the whole game: Improvisation. To truly shine under the lights, you've got to be quick on your feet and ready to react naturally to anything!
The Details:
When: Week of July 20 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM daily
Who: Kids ages 8–16 (Drop-off camp)
What: Current and former members of local improv groups will train your kids through the most fun, hilarious, and fast-paced improv games they'll ever play!

No experience necessary! This is a great place to start if you’ve ever wanted hands-on experience with tools and learning construction skills.
You’ll learn:

🪵 The basics of building structures
🎭 House sets come together from the ground up
Our carpenter, Bill Heym, will teach you these real practical skills you can use outside the theater as well (home projects, repairs, knowing your way around a toolbox).
it’s also one of the easiest ways to get involved act and me a solid group of people who like working with their hands.
